An angel wearing the number 1 goalkeeper's shirt. This is how Santo Romano, the young man killed in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio on Saturday night, is depicted in one of the fifty letters displayed today by his school friends at the 'Archimede' institute in the Ponticelli district of Naples.
The letters, one for each high school class, had been prepared for a flash mob planned for today in front of the school, but it was postponed until tomorrow to allow Santo's friends to attend the afternoon funeral in the church in Casoria.
The messages, some directed at Holy, were posted on a noticeboard at the entrance to the classrooms by classmates dressed in black, as a sign of mourning.

The mother of the 17-year-old confessed murderer also wrote a letter yesterday asking for forgiveness from the victim's family, a forgiveness that, however, is not evident in the banner hanging on the school's facade that reads "Holy like Abel killed by Cain."
The boys' letters, full of love and memories, highlight the drawing of the Santo angel wearing a yellow jersey and the number one, who, as he was known to do so well in the Eccellenza championship, has just saved the ball.
