Naples. Maestro Giovanni Allevi brought a touch of magic to the heart of the Pausilipon Pediatric Hospital in Naples, brightening the young patients' Sundays with his music. In a gesture of great generosity and humanity, the renowned pianist and composer participated in the "Christmas at Santobono" charity initiative, treating the hospitalized children to an exclusive concert.
Accompanied by Antonio Larizza, president of Artis Suavitas Aps and received by Rodolfo Conenna, general director of the Santobono Pausilipon National Relief Hospital, Maria Vittoria Montemurro, medical director of the Santobono Pausilipon National Relief Hospital, by Flavia Matrisciano and Anna Maria Ziccardi, director and president of the Santobono Pausilipon Foundation, the Maestro Giovanni Allevi, after greeting some of the little hospitalized patients, wanted to delight the special audience, playing the piano and enchanting everyone with his melodies of the songs "Aria" and "Tomorrow", the latter song written by You breed during his hospital stay and which is a true hymn to hope for tomorrow
The delicate notes of Allevi's piano enveloped the wards, creating an atmosphere of serenity and joy that momentarily banished the worries of their illness. The young patients, their eyes shining with emotion, listened enchanted to the maestro's melodies, feeling for a moment at the center of a world of dreams and hope.
"Christmas at Santobono" is a charitable project that has been bringing smiles to hospitalized children for years, offering them moments of recreation and distraction. Thanks to the collaboration with Artis Suavitas Aps and the Santobono Pausilipon Foundation, the initiative is enriched every year with new initiatives and special guests like Giovanni Allevi.
The maestro's visit represents a gesture of great solidarity and a message of hope for all sick children and their families. Music, as Allevi himself emphasized, has the power to unite people and give comfort in difficult times.

"The surprise visit to the Pausilipon Hospital in Naples," Allevi said, "was an experience that deeply touched my heart. Entering that world of suffering and hope, which I can now say I know, reminded me of the extraordinary strength of children, who with their bright smiles give us courage too.
They remind me that everything we do in this world must be for the good. Playing for them was the least I could do, like giving an invisible caress, a hug made of notes, in the hope of bringing a moment of serenity and light into their lives."
"I thank Maestro Giovanni Allevi," added Antonio Larizza, "who immediately accepted our invitation, inspiring endless emotions with his visit and his music to the little angels in the ward. Allevi's surprise effectively opens the fourth edition of "Christmas at Santobono, a book for a smile," the charity initiative we support every year together with the Fondazione Santobono Pausilipon, to bring the Christmas spirit into the hospital environment, with the aim of creating, wherever possible, moments of harmony and serenity in the various departments.
"Music is an important therapeutic tool, a universal language that accompanies the healing process," commented Rodolfo Conenna. "Thanks to Maestro Allevi for the compassion he has always shown our hospital. This visit brings a powerful message of hope for our young patients."
