Upon arrival at his home, the Carabinieri found themselves faced with two big dogs, freed by the 19-year-old in an attempt to obstruct the entry of the police. Once the obstacle was overcome, the soldiers found Marrazzo with evident burns on his arms and hands, attributable to the fire.

He also had a partially burned blank gun in the house.

During the search, a partially burned blank pistol and two 7,65 caliber bullets were found. The weapon, although unusable as a firearm, was seized along with other items collected as evidence. Marrazzo was transferred to prison, where he remains awaiting trial.
