Castellammare. A wave of grief and emotion has been spreading since late today on Castellammare's social media following the confirmation of the death of 19-year-old Alessia Piccirillo.
Another young life cut short. Her heart stopped beating late this morning at the Ospedale del Mare in Naples, where she had been admitted in critical condition following a tragic car accident on the night between Saturday, November 16th and Sunday, November 17th, on the Sorrento Highway.
The girl, originally from Castellammare di Stabia, was a passenger on a motorbike driven by Simeon Dimitrov, an eighteen-year-old originally from Bulgaria but resident for years in Castellammare where he was a rower, who lost his life instantly after the vehicle crashed into a low wall for reasons still being investigated by the Carabinieri.

This is very sad and shocking news, I can't believe such a young girl died. People need to be more careful when driving, especially on motorbikes. Hopefully the authorities will find the truth about what happened.
