Two fifty-year-old entrepreneurs from Cesa have been investigated for stalking and attempted extortion against a local woman. The investigation, conducted by the Carabinieri of Cesa, was started following the victim's complaint.
According to the prosecution, one of the businessmen allegedly stalked the woman with offensive and threatening messages on social media, causing her to experience profound anxiety and fear.

The other suspect, however, allegedly tried to blackmail the womens, asking her for 20.000 euros in exchange for silence on alleged compromising information.
The Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples North notified the suspects of the conclusion of the investigations, granting them 20 days to present defense briefs. The woman, who joined as a civil party, said she was determined to continue the case in court.

I am following the situation and I think that what happened is very serious. The woman deserves justice and I hope that those under investigation receive an appropriate sentence. It is unacceptable that there are people who use power to harm others.
