Fire in Lettere, in the Naples area, where a blaze broke out in a house located at number 97 of Corso Vittorio Emanuele III. The alarm was raised a short while ago, calling for the immediate intervention of the Carabinieri of the local station, the Fire Brigade and the Local Police officers.
According to an initial reconstruction, the fire was caused by a domestic accident, although investigations to ascertain the exact dynamics are still ongoing. Inside the apartment there was an 80-year-old man, promptly rescued by rescue teams.
The elderly man was visited by the staff of the 118 and, fortunately, he did not suffer any injuries. However, the house was declared uninhabitable due to the damage caused by the flames. The local community is expressing concern about the incident, while the authorities recommend maximum attention to prevent domestic accidents that can turn into tragedies.
