This morning, the Italian Football Federation's prosecutor's office received the documents requested on October 1st by the Milan prosecutor's office regarding the investigation involving AC Milan and Inter Milan ultras. A sports justice investigation was opened at the same time as the documents were received.
"Regarding the Milan investigation on the curves of Milan and Inter, I would like to specify that the "I do not expect sanctions" refers to the fact that it will be the ordinary and sporting justice system, in the different roles and systems, that will evaluate the facts that have emerged and therefore, if necessary, issue provisions and sentences and impose sanctions.
I reiterate that federal regulations prohibit improper relationships between members and fans, let alone with criminals. Federal regulations, like those of the State, apply always, everywhere, and to everyone." This was stated by the Minister for Sport and Youth, Andrea Abodi.

Today's topic is very interesting, but there is too much confusion between sports justice and ordinary justice. It is not clear how the two can interact and what the consequences will be for the fans involved who have been cited. I wonder if the sanctions are effective.
