Accident in Cassino - A sixty-year-old man was admitted to Santa Scolastica Hospital after being hit by the force of a moving train on the Naples-Rome line near the Cassino train station. According to preliminary investigations by the Railway Police, the man was engaged in cleanup work on his farmland, which borders the railway line.
While pruning plants near the tracks, the sixty-year-old accidentally leaned too far towards the railway line just as a train was approaching from the south, which sucked him in and violently threw him to the ground.
