Infinitimondi: the special issue dedicated to Eduardo will be presented on November 25th

On November 25th, the Eduardo De Filippo Foundation will host the presentation of the special issue 37/2024 of the magazine Infinitimondi, dedicated to the memory of the celebrated Neapolitan actor and playwright Eduardo De Filippo. The event will be held at 17:30 PM at the headquarters in Piazza Scarpetta, Naples.

Tribute to Eduardo De Filippo

Forty years after his death, this special issue of Infinitimondi includes an extensive introductory essay by Antonio Grieco.

Following is a collection of articles by Paolo Ricci, literary critic and friend of Eduardo, written from 1941 to 1984. The volume is enriched with letters and messages between Eduardo De Filippo and Ricci, as well as texts by Eduardo, articles by Nora Puntillo and Gianfranco Nappi, and a series of significant images.

Presentation and speakers

The day will be coordinated by Nora Puntillo, with greetings from Francesco Somma and an introduction by Gianfranco Nappi. This will be followed by presentations by Antonio Grieco, Antonia Lezza, Annamaria Sapienza, and Giulio Baffi, who will contribute a comprehensive overview of Eduardo De Filippo's influence and legacy on the cultural and theatrical scene.

The event seems very interesting and I think it is important to remember figures like Eduardo De Filippo. However, I do not know if I will be able to participate because I have work commitments. Let's hope there will be other opportunities in the future.
