Castellammare. A teacher was saved from lynching by an enraged group of mothers of Panzini middle school students. The timely intervention of the Carabinieri rescued the woman (accused of sexually harassing the boys) from the clutches of the group.
It happened on Via Salita San Giacomo in the historic center of Castellammare di Stabia, in the middle school branch. A group of parents had been monitoring their children for a few days after someone at home had confided that the teacher was exhibiting "strange" behavior.
At the insistence of their parents, some children confessed that the teacher was doing sexual abuse.

But within 2 or 3 days the situation worsened, perhaps due to the usual chatter and a group of mothers burst into the school asking the principal to remove the teacher.
Meanwhile, some had even begun to circulate among the few classrooms in the school. The teacher was verbally assaulted, but fortunately, the Carabinieri arrived and "saved" her from being lynched.
