There is a challenging atmosphere on the eve of the match between Cittadella and Juve Stabia, valid for the Serie BKT. During the pre-match press conference held today at the press room of the Romeo Menti stadium, Juve Stabia coach Guido Pagliuca underlined the crucial importance of the match both for the standings and for the individual growth of the players.
“Tomorrow’s match is crucial for both teams. The result will be decisive for both us and Cittadella, a tough team with a long tenure in this category,” Pagliuca declared, aware of the difficulties his men will have to face.
The coach then highlighted the mental approach required: “We have to keep the right emotional distance: neither too tense nor too relaxed. We need strength and serenity to play our football, without ever forgetting our essence, that of fighting for every ball.”
Pagliuca also praised the “Cittadella Model”, calling it an example of sustainability and organization: "It's a solid company, with a clear vision. A few years ago, as an outsider, I attended their training sessions and I noticed the effectiveness of their work." Particular focus was dedicated to the offensive phase, with a reference to the match against Spezia: “We didn’t take advantage of the second balls as we should have, but it’s an aspect where we can make the difference. This detail will also be crucial tomorrow.”
Regarding the physical condition of the team, Pagliuca reassured: “The team is fine. Buglio is recovering, while Varnier and Adreoni are the only ones unavailable. For the rest, everyone is available.” The challenge against Cittadella therefore represents an important test for the Juve Stabia, called to demonstrate character and determination to continue pursuing their seasonal goals.
