Juve Stabia are certainly complaining, having emerged unscathed from the Carrara stadium with a 0-0 draw that leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, especially for the first half and for Ruggero's millimetric offside on Bellich's goal in the first half following a sensational blunder by goalkeeper Bleve.
The goalkeeper then redeemed himself on at least two more occasions. A third straight draw for Coach Pagliuca's Wasps, who now await next Saturday's match against another powerhouse, Spezia, another candidate for a promotion to the next division. Spezia boasts two renowned Castellammare di Stabia players, brothers Salvatore and Francesco Pio Esposito (who just returned to scoring today), both of whom trained at Inter.
The Stabia team, however, remains firmly in the playoff zone. The first real chance of the match came in the 25th minute with a disallowed goal for Juve Stabia: Bellich capitalized on a mistake by Bleve, who lost the ball, but Ruggero was in an active offside position.
Shortly after, Carrarese attempted to respond with a left-footed shot from Belloni in the area, but it ended up wide.
