The scene was captured by cameras in a private park.

“He tried to rob my mother and father, two 2-year-old pensioners,” says the son of the two escaped victims who spoke to MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli. “At 70:21 p.m. in a park, without any fear. It seems he was armed, fortunately he got scared and ran away, but the thing that remains is the total carelessness of these people.”
“They act without fear, while citizens are very afraid because they are left” totally at the mercy of criminals and delinquents - declares Borrelli with the municipal councilor of Europa Verde Giusy Mauriello - “Thieves and robbers act undisturbed and become increasingly dangerous and brazen given the lack of patrols. What a sad story, I hope the thieves are caught soon and that pensioners can feel safe in their homes again.
What a bad experience for those poor old people, let's hope that measures are taken to ensure everyone's safety.
This is very worrying and makes you think about how security is being jeopardized. Pensioners should not be afraid to stay in their homes. I hope the authorities take these situations seriously and act accordingly, otherwise the situation will only get worse.
