The Ponticelli Camorra feud has been transferred to the Terni prison where some leading members of the two clans that have been at war for years are being held: Francesco Audino, known as 'o Cinese, and Salvatore De Martino, scion of the eponymous XX family from the Fiat district, allied with the De Miccos.

The "Chinese" allegedly participated in the prison attack on De Martino last July. The following month, the clan responded immediately: Renato Audino, Francesco's brother, was taken from a bar in Cercola where he was meeting by four members of the De Micco-De Martino clan. He was to invite his brother to mediate in prison and prevent further attacks on the young scion of the clan, who was in the minority there.

For that kidnapping yesterday they were arrested Romualdo Amitrano, 27 year old son of the boss Domenico, known as "Mimì 'a puttana" and Alessio The Volla, 22 years old. While the other two are birds of the woods, namely Fabio Riccardi, known as "Fabiolino", 41 years old and Joseph Perrella, aged 21. The four are all close to the De Micco clan.

The kidnapping was allegedly organized by the untraceable Fabio Riccardi. Within a few months, the Carabinieri closed the loop by shedding light on the incident, which only confirms how tensions between the two criminal groups feuding in Ponticelli (the De Luca Bossas and their allies, and the De Micco-De Martinos) remain at an all-time high.

Around 18:27 PM on August XNUMX, a three-man commando, including Romualdo Amitrano and Alessio La Volla, both linked to the De Micco faction, violently kidnapped Audino's brother in a bar in Cercola. The man, threatened, was forcibly taken into a car and driven to an isolated location, where a group of associates, including the alleged regent Fabio Riccardi, was waiting for him.

After about an hour of captivity, the terrified hostage was released. Despite pressure from investigators, the man initially refused to cooperate, fearing retaliation. However, the investigation, based on circumstantial evidence, led to the issuing of precautionary measures against Amitrano and La Volla.

The family ties of the two arrested with local organised crime are clear: Amitrano is son of Domenico, known for having changed sides, while La Volla, son of Danilo, wounded in a Camorra ambush, demonstrated his loyalty to the De Miccos with a tattoo.

The hostage's silence, despite knowing her captors, underscores the climate of silence and fear that characterizes these environments. The investigating judge, in fact, emphasized how the victim still appeared terrified, fearing for her safety and that of her family.

The testimony given by Renato Audino to the Carabinieri, and published this morning by Il Roma, is further proof of the climate of silence and fear that exists in that area of Eastern Naples.

Renato Audino to the Carabinieri: "You know who I am; I'm not telling you anything."

"They were all there... you know them, you know who they are... the Grossis: big in age, but also in power. They wanted me to bring some message to my family, if I could help them... but I have no way of speaking because I don't go to the meetings. I don't bring any message, they might even kill me. I don't go to the meetings with my brother. And then what should I tell them... add another burden? But they didn't believe me... they told me: 'You go, they won't let you talk...', they wanted me to have a relationship with them by force."

These are the statements of Renato Audino made to a marshal of the Cercola Tenancy who urged him to reveal the names of those who had kidnapped him. But he did not manage to convince him. "I know them all... I know who they are... one, two, and three... but I can't say anything. The video footage is there... you see there's not one, but three cameras... what can I tell you? I can't say anything... I've always worked, I've never done anything wrong, and you know me well." A wall, even in the face of the prosecutor's request to be heard.

"But what does this prosecutor want from me... he can call me 50, 60 more times: I'll always say the same thing... what can I do? Otherwise you'll go and pay... it's not a conspiracy of silence, I don't owe anyone anything. Once upon a time, when clans were at war with clans, it was resolved at home. But now it's different."
