Opening on November 22, 2024, in the historic Vasari Sacristy of the Monumental Complex of Sant'Anna dei Lombardi in Naples, Assunta Saulle's "Golfo Mistico" exhibition presents visitors with an artistic proposition that blends elements of sacredness and mystery. The event, curated by Carla Travierso, is supported by Black Art and Black Tarantella, in collaboration with the Officine Artistiche Vesuviane and the patronage of the University of Naples L'Orientale. The exhibition will remain open to the public until December 22, 2024.

### A Visual Journey

The exhibition features 33 photodynamic self-portraits, all 30 x 40 cm, taken in iconic locations in Campania. "Golfo Mistico" takes the viewer on a visual journey steeped in sacredness and mysticism, exploring locations such as the Fontanelle Cemetery in the Sanità district, the Piscina Mirabilis, the Sibyl's Cave, and the Temple of Isis in the Pompeii excavations.

### Art and Cultural Mystery

Assunta Saulle's works are a weave of lights, a visual ritual that unites the sacred and the profane, myth and superstition.

The four photographic cycles present the artist as an almost mystical figure who engages with universal themes such as temples, crosses, water, and darkness, inserting himself into archaeological and natural settings.

### An Artistic Evolution

Originally from Scafati and educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, Assunta Saulle has developed a career that extends through collective and solo exhibitions both nationally and internationally, touching cities such as London and New York. Her exploration of photodynamism, influenced by futurism, makes the temporal interval between the expression and the recording of movement the symbol of suggestive transformations of reality.
