Naples. Thousands of people gathered today in the heart of Naples to participate in a march dedicated to legality and the fight against violence. Students, associations, and families of innocent victims marched together, carrying high a message of hope and a request for change.

At the head of the procession, a large banner read: "Let's free Naples from violence. We want disarmament, welfare, rights, jobs, schools, culture." A sign in large letters shouted "Stop the murders," while Libera flags waved nearby.

Many young people wore T-shirts with the face of Santo Romano, the 19-year-old tragically killed in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio on the night between November 1st and 2nd. Among the crowd, there were also the boy's family and friends, who decided to join the demonstration to keep Santo's memory alive and ask for justice.

The procession made a brief stop in front of the Police Headquarters and then headed towards Piazza del Plebiscito, where the demonstrators hope to be received by the prefect Michele Di Bari. With this symbolic gesture, the citizens ask for concrete actions and an institutional commitment to combat violence and promote a culture of legality and respect.
