Naples. "We want welfare, rights, redemption. Not police and controls. No to Bill 1660. Piantedosi Go Away." This is the banner displayed outside the entrance to the Vesuvio Hotel in Naples this morning to protest the Interior Minister, who is expected in the city this afternoon at 17:30 PM for the presentation of Italo Bocchino's book "Why Italy is Right-Wing," which will be held at the hotel on the seafront.
Activists from Laboratorio Insurgencia claimed responsibility for the action: "We decided to send a message to the minister, who will be in Naples today for yet another propaganda event for the far-right political group he and the government he belongs to represent."

We believe that Naples needs massive investments in culture, regulated work, education, social policies." "On November 27th in Naples and on December 14th in Roma "We will be in the streets to reclaim our territories, to reclaim the concept of security, and to oppose bill 1660, a measure that, in our opinion, epitomizes the shortsightedness of this government and the beginning of a security crackdown that is anti-democratic in Italy."
