Yet another fatality on the road between Naples and its province. It happened late yesterday evening in Nola. Shortly after 22,30:XNUMX PM, the Carabinieri, alerted by several calls for help and assistance, responded to a traffic accident on Via Ponte di Nola near the entrance to the ASI area.
Shortly before, and for reasons still under investigation, a 36-year-old man driving a Ford Focus SW lost control of the car and violently impacted the guardrail. Ambulance crews arrived on the scene and transferred him to the emergency room of the Santa Maria della Pietà Hospital in Nola, where his heart stopped beating shortly after arrival.
The 36-year-old had suffered serious injuries to his internal organs that left him no chance of survival.
The vehicle was seized. The body was made available to the judicial authorities for an autopsy. The Carabinieri are completing their investigations and surveys to establish the exact circumstances and whether other vehicles were involved.
