At the 2024 Regional Dressage and Paradressage Championships, hosted by ASD Grifondoro, athlete Davide Riccardelli, under the guidance of Dr. Claudio Belardo, won the gold medal in the prestigious Fei Grand Prix Freestyle Grade 3. With a score of 61,92%, obtained in front of judges Massimo Ciolli and Alessandra Zanot, Riccardelli and his horse Ringo T dominated the competition, thrilling the audience to the tune of Rondò Veneziano.
The atmosphere became touching when, at the conclusion of the performance, the audience approached the visibly moved athlete to thank him for a performance full of harmony and passion. Salvatore Zotti, vice president of FISE Campania , celebrated his success on the podium , while Riccardelli warmly thanked everyone in attendance for their support.
Riccardelli and his horse Ringo T have been training for four years under the expert guidance of Dr. Claudio Belardo, instructor in charge of the Federal School of Equestrian Sports Paralympic Paradressage of the ASD I Tifatini of Caserta. Thanks to the constant commitment and passion of Belardo, a psychologist with a master's degree in pedagogy and motor sciences, the equestrian paralympic sector in Campania has seen significant growth. At the beginning of the year, the President of FISE Campania, Dr. Vincenzo Montrone, entrusted Belardo with the task of managing the sector, focusing on inclusion and support for paralympic athletes.
