Portico di Caserta – A tragedy has struck the community of Portico di Caserta, where a two-month-old baby was found lifeless in his home on Via Caravaggio, a residential street in the new part of town.
The tragic discovery was made at dawn by his mother, who had gone to wake him up but found that the little boy was showing no signs of life.
The emergency services were called immediately, but the intervention of the 118 team, which arrived on the scene shortly after, was in vain: the health workers had no choice but to confirm the child's death. The cause of death appears to be cardiac arrest, probably attributable to a case of "cot death", the so-called SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).
The baby reportedly had eaten his usual dinner the night before and had fallen asleep without any apparent signs of illness. The community is now rallying around the family, deeply shocked by such a sudden and devastating tragedy.

It is truly sad to hear of this event that happened in Portico di Caserta. There are no words to describe the pain of a mother who loses such a young child. The community must stand by the family in this difficult time and offer them support.
This news is truly terrible. I cannot imagine the pain the family is feeling, such a small and lifeless baby. The community must stand together in these difficult times to support the parents.
