Night raid by the Guardia di Finanza in Boscoreale: a criminal arrested with a ready-to-use gun. The green berets of the Torre Annunziata Group have made an important arrest.
Having stopped a car at a strategic point, the finance police proceeded to search the vehicle and personnel, finding inside the passenger compartment a Beretta 950B pistol, caliber 22, with the serial number erased and already loaded, ready for use.
The weapon, hidden in the driver's clothing, a 36-year-old with a criminal record, a 36-year-old resident of Lauro (AV) but actually domiciled in Ottaviano (NA), suggests a clear criminal intent. During the personal search, over 1.000 euros in cash were also found, presumably the proceeds of illegal activity.
The seized money and the arrested man's criminal record suggest a connection with illicit activities.

The arrest represents an important result in the fight against gun crime in the area. The operation, coordinated by the Torre Annunziata Public Prosecutor's Office, is part of a broader strategy to combat the phenomenon of clandestine weapons and the criminal organizations that use them.
The Oplonti territory, moreover, is not new to the recrudescence of the use of weaponry. Last month, the same financial police seized 2 rifles and 35 cartridges, found along a street in the municipality of Trecase, inside a metal pipe cleverly hidden in a rainwater drain.
The rifles, respectively “Benelli” and “Breda” models, in perfect working order, as well as the related ammunition, were promptly seized.

but what is happening in this country?? too much violence and weapons around, we can't live like this anymore. I hope the authorities do more to stop these criminals. the arrest is a good step, but we need more control and prevention.
