Via Partenope: attacks passers-by and throws a man onto the rocks. State Police arrests a 53-year-old for attempted murder.
Naples. He had become the terror of residents along the Lungomare promenade on Via Patenope, beating and attacking anyone he could find without reason. A 53-year-old Venezuelan man was arrested by police and jailed on charges of attempted murder and assault.
The attacker's story went viral on social media because he had also attacked other people in the Alto neighborhood. One ended up in the hospital with head injuries and a fractured wrist.
The arrest was carried out by the agents of the UOPI (Emergency Operational Units) of the Campania Crime Prevention department, who during the territorial control service, while passing through via Partenope, they noticed a man who was attacking some passers-by with violent kicks and punches.

Then, not content with that, he pushed a man who was sitting on the seafront wall at the time, causing him to fall onto the rocks below. The officers intervened, but the man, just over six feet tall and with a powerful physique, then violently punched another passerby, knocking him to the pavement.
At that point, the police called 118 personnel, with the assistance of officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue. They reached and, with considerable difficulty, arrested the man, ascertaining that he had begun cursing and attacking anyone in his path, for no reason whatsoever.
The suspect, then in the police offices, continued the violent conduct, threatening and attacking the officers several times. For this reason, he was arrested.
