Rita Granata she died after three days of agony, after being first treated at the San Paolo hospital and then later at the Nocera Inferiore hospital where she also underwent an operation to save her from death.
The parents are keen to point out that their daughter still lives on through ten people because they decided to respect Rita's exceptional altruism, who, by donating her organs, saved these people who were waiting for organ transplants from certain death.

It is truly sad to see how a young life like Rita Granata's was cut short in such a violent way. Justice must be done, and I hope that the trial will lead to an appropriate sentence for the accused. Organ donation is a beautiful gesture and shows how altruistic she was.
