The carabinieri of the station of Procida, during the activities to combat illegal building, reported three people. According to a note from the Carabinieri, those reported include the owner of a construction company, the surveyor in charge of supervising the work and the client, a 77-year-old local resident.
During a joint inspection with technical personnel of the Municipality, the unauthorized construction of an aviary of about 3 square meters, anchored to the ground, was ascertained. The structure, made of masonry and steel, was seized.
I also think that controls should be more severe, not only for those who build without a permit but also for the authorities who have to monitor these situations. It is a serious problem.
The news about the three people reported for illegal building is quite interesting, but I don't know if it's right that only the builders are punished and not also those who give permission for these things. More checks should be done.
