The Carabinieri of the Ischia company continue their action to combat drug dealing and crime, with tight controls on streets and homes. In Forio, the military of the local station arrested Gianmarco Coletta, 33, already known to the police. During a search, the man was found in possession of three doses of hashish.
The checks, extended to his home, led to the seizure of a precision scale, drug packaging material, 960 euros in cash and a smartphone containing messages that would demonstrate drug dealing activity. Coletta, arrested, will be transferred to prison.
A Procida, instead, the Carabinieri reported a 62-year-old man found in possession of 24 grams of hashish. During the house search, the military discovered a sum of 12.260 euros in cash in a wall safe, which was deemed untraceable and therefore seized. During the roadside checks, which involved 106 people and 55 vehicles, a 55-year-old man was also reported, caught in possession of a 14-centimeter long switchblade.

I agree with you, there should be more police presence, especially in areas where there are more problems.
the enforcement action by the carabinieri is good, but there should be more checks on the road for everyone's safety. I've also seen people dealing drugs around.
