The 13-year-old's parents filed a formal complaint with the Carabinieri after having the child treated at the emergency room of the San Giuliano Hospital in Giugliano. The victim, who turns 13 today, told the Carabinieri that he was on a soccer field playing football with some friends.
Then suddenly another boy of about 10 years old approached and asked him to give him the ball. He didn't even have time to pass it to a playmate when suddenly the boy, who he had never seen before, pulled out a small knife from his pocket and stabbed him in the left thigh before running away.
