The "Tammurriata e Tradizione" dance workshop, organized by the IAV Cultural Association, has sold out. Scheduled for November 30th and December 1st, the event will be held at the In Arte Vesuvio arts center from 17:00 PM to 20:00 PM and will be led by renowned artist Cosimo Alberti.
### An experience of dance and culture
The workshop offers an immersion in the traditions of Campania, led by Cosimo Alberti with choreography by Cristian Luino. Participants will have the opportunity to discover the history and anecdotes related to the instrument that is an icon of local culture, enriching the experience with live music. The initiative aims to combine rhythm and movement to celebrate the rich musical tradition of Southern Italy.
### Preserving culture through art
The aim is to promote and preserve cultural heritage, allowing participants to explore the roots of folk dances and songs within a significant historical and social context. Artistic director Giovanna Sannino highlighted the importance of these activities for promoting traditions and strengthening communities through art.
### Initiative promoted by local culture
The workshop is part of the project “Naples…paradise for demons, women and passions”, launched in September and financially supported by the Campania Region, following the Regional Law 28/2018. This initiative is part of a broader program aimed at highlighting the cultural traditions of the region.

It is important to preserve the culture, it would be nice to see more similar events in our region
