Naples. Yesterday afternoon, the State Police arrested a 25-year-old man of Algerian origin, already known to law enforcement and an illegal immigrant, accused of burglary.

Officers from the San Ferdinando Police Station, while on patrol, noticed the man furtively approaching a van parked on Corso Garibaldi, on the corner of Piazza Guglielmo Pepe.

Taking advantage of the driver's distraction, the young man opened the door and stole a cell phone.

The officers intervened promptly, blocking him and recovering the cell phone, which was returned to its rightful owner.
