On November 29th, the “SPORE” Festival will kick off in Salerno, an initiative dedicated to the Encounter, designed by young people under 35. The event will take place at iMorticelli, in the heart of the historic center, until December 1st.

A Festival of Encounter
“SPORE” was born within the project “Do It Yourself – Do It Ourselves”, promoted by Blam and supported by the Campania Region. The aim is to encourage young people to actively participate in their communities and to promote new forms of cultural entrepreneurship, enhancing places of historical interest. The events aim to make people reflect on the concept of Encounter in its various forms, such as chance, exchange and ritual.
Programming and Meetings
On the opening day of Friday, November 29, it will open with “Spore in città”, a performance in the historic center, followed by a “WANNABE Live Podcast” with the participation of Claudia Fauzia and Giulia Mei at iMorticelli. The evening will culminate with a concert by singer-songwriter Giulia Mei and a DJ set with DJ Kowu. Saturday, November 30 will feature the “Rituale” dance and expressive movement workshop and the “Deerrare” theater workshop, while in the evening “Fiori di Cadillac” will perform. On Sunday, December 1, there will be a shared brunch accompanied by team games by Kaboom, followed by a psychology workshop on the theme of relationships by Lucretia Paravai. The day will end with a “Speed Day”, a social event that combines meetings, performances and dinners, with the participation of several special guests.
The Blam Collective
Blam is a collective of architects engaged in urban and social regeneration, with a focus on cultural reuse and public space. iMorticelli is a multifunctional space born in a former church, intended to stimulate inclusion and community processes in the context of the historic center of Salerno.
