Another night of fear on the A16 Naples-Canosa highway. Last night, a car suddenly caught fire near the town of Mercogliano. Fortunately, the vehicle's three occupants, all Neapolitans, escaped unharmed thanks to the timely intervention of the Avellino Fire Department.
The accident, which occurred while the vehicle was in motion, originated in the engine compartment. The flames, which developed rapidly, ended up engulfing and completely destroying the car. However, thanks to the promptness of the rescuers, none of the passengers, who were traveling from Naples to Avellino, were injured.
