The "Taken Down" investigation by the Catania Public Prosecutor's Office led to the dismantling of a network of over 2.500 illegal channels, with servers distributing illicit signals across Europe. The operation revealed a vast transnational criminal organization providing services to over 22 million users, leading to searches in Italy and other countries and involving 102 individuals under investigation.

Dazn declared to theAdnkronos The company intends to join the criminal proceedings as a civil party, with the aim of identifying and prosecuting users who accessed sporting events without a legitimate subscription.
