Scafati. The Guardia di Finanza of Salerno has intensified controls to protect the goods and services sector, in order to combat the trade of unsafe items that are potentially dangerous to the health of buyers.
As part of the aforementioned interventions, in recent days the Guardia di Finanza of the Scafati Company have found and seized, in two shops located in the municipalities of Scafati and San Valentino Torio, almost 150 thousand items, including masks, gadgets and various accessories, lacking the necessary certifications, indications and warnings for use required by law, placed on sale in violation of the provisions of the Consumer Code.

The products marketed in view of the Christmas holidays were thus protected in accordance with the law and withdrawn from the market; the owners of the commercial establishments were instead reported to the competent Chamber of Commerce for the imposition of the expected administrative sanctions.
