Lega Serie B is on the front lines against violence against women, promoting a symbolic and concrete initiative on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
President Mauro Balata, this morning, delivered the Kappa® red ball to the Minister for Disabilities, Alessandra Locatelli, officially launching a series of awareness-raising activities that will involve the championship.On the 14th day of BKT Series, the red ball will be used in all matches, transforming every pitch into a stage to convey a clear message: the rejection of all forms of gender violence. Among the participating clubs, the commitment of SS stands out Juve Stabia 1907, who decided to join the initiative, helping to spread the message in the sports and local communities.
During the meeting, President Balata and Minister Locatelli underlined the role of sport as a powerful vehicle for social awareness. They also discussed a series of future projects aimed at promoting values of inclusion, autonomy and sociality, with the aim of consolidating the collaboration between the Ministry for Disabilities and Lega B.
