And unfortunately for him, death came last night.
At just 17 years old, Simone Caliendo, originally from Qualiano, died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital after a road accident that occurred yesterday evening on Via Nuova del Bosco in Marigliano.
He was riding one scooter with a friend of the same age when he collided, for reasons still being ascertained, with a car driven by a 45-year-old man. His friend was seriously injured while the driver of the car suffered only minor injuries.
