Somma Vesuviana. What was supposed to be a wild night of celebration turned into a nightmare for the organizers of an illegal Halloween party in Somma Vesuviana. The Carabinieri of the Torre del Greco branch, aroused by intense social media activity, uncovered the illegal event, discovering 848 young people in costume, ready to let loose in an unauthorized venue.
The evening, organized in great secrecy, promised wild fun and loud music. But the organizers' plan was foiled by the timely intervention of law enforcement. The officers, armed with service weapons, stormed the venue, finding a surreal atmosphere: strobe lights, artificial smoke, and masked youths dancing wildly.
The venue, which lacked the necessary permits to host an event of this magnitude, had serious safety deficiencies.
