Naples. This morning, the State Police arrested a 47-year-old Neapolitan and a 25-year-old from the Dominican Republic, both with criminal records, for illegal possession and transfer of narcotics.
In particular, the officers of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, during a territorial control service, passing through vico Santa Caterina a Formiello, noticed two individuals who, in exchange for money, were handing something to a person, who then quickly walked away.
The police officers, who intervened promptly to interrupt the criminal activity, reached and stopped the suspects, finding them in possession of 10 packages of cocaine with a total weight of approximately 2 grams and 360 euros in cash, divided into banknotes of different denominations, clearly the proceeds of the illicit activity.
