Italy will face Germany in the quarterfinals of the Nations League. This is according to the draw held this morning in Nyon, at UEFA headquarters, which determined the pairings for the final tournament. Luciano Spalletti's team will play the first leg at home on March 20, 2025, with the return match away on March 23.
In addition to Italy vs. Germany, the other quarterfinal pairings are: Netherlands vs. Spain, Croatia vs. France, and Denmark vs. Portugal. The winner of the Italy vs. Germany match will face the winner of the Denmark vs. Portugal match in the semifinals. The other semifinal will feature the winners of the Netherlands vs. Spain and Croatia vs. France matches.
The League A quarter-final matches are scheduled for March 20 and 23, while the semi-finals will be played on June 4 and 5, 2025. The final, along with the third-place match, will be held on Sunday, June 8, after which the trophy will of course be awarded.
