The criminal trial against Giuseppe Carione, a retired marshal of the Guardia di Finanza and former president of the Committee for the Celebration of the Madonna di Casaluce, defended by the lawyer Alfonso Quarto, continues before the second section of the Court of Naples North, based in Aversa and presided over by Dr. Lucia Ferraro.
The injured party is a parish priest of a sanctuary of casaluce, constituted as a civil party with the lawyers Raffaele and Gaetano Crisileo. The priest would have been the victim of accusations, insults and acts of stalking by the former soldier, who would have distributed defamatory posters against him, posting them all over the city, even on private shutters, commercial businesses and lampposts.
These posters would have caused confusion among fellow citizens.

At today's hearing, Marshal Amedeo Scialdone, commander of the Teverola Carabinieri station, testified. He reconstructed the investigation conducted under the authority of the Prosecutor's Office. The next hearing, during which the final witnesses on the Prosecutor's list will be heard, has been scheduled for January 30, 2025.
