A Striano This year the anniversary of National Unity and the Armed Forces celebration, organized by the municipal administration and the association "Caduti per la Patria", will have an even stronger and more special meaning: the mayor Giulio Gerli and the members of the administration will give all the girls and boys who have turned 18 a copy of the Constitution Italian, symbol of our freedom, of the rights and duties we have as citizens.
Monday 4th November, therefore, all the newly adults of Striano will be called to dialogue with the mayor Giulio Gerli, the deputy mayor and councilor for culture Olimpia Ferrara, the president of the city council Santolo Sorvillo, the president of the association “Caduti per la Patria” Luigi Finale and all the members of the city administration on democracy, participation, respect for institutions.
The program starts at 18 pm with the gathering at the Town Hall, then the Holy Mass, the laying of the laurel wreath at the war memorial and the return to the Town Hall for the meeting with the new adults and the delivery of the Constitution.
