This year in Striano, the anniversary of National Unity and the Armed Forces Day, organized by the municipal administration and the "Caduti per la Patria" association, will have an even stronger and more special meaning: Mayor Giulio Gerli and members of the administration will present all young people who have turned 18 with a copy of the Italian Constitution, a symbol of our freedom, rights, and duties as citizens.
On Monday, November 4, all the newly-adults of Striano will be called to dialogue with the mayor Giulio Gerli, the deputy mayor and councilor for culture Olimpia Ferrara, the president of the city council Santolo Sorvillo, the president of the association “Caduti per la Patria” Luigi Finale and all the members of the city administration on democracy, participation, respect for institutions.

The program starts at 18pm with the gathering at the Town Hall, then the Holy Mass, the laying of the laurel wreath at the war memorial and the return to the Town Hall for the meeting with the new adults and the delivery of the Constitution.
