Teano. This morning a 3-year-old child left his home and headed toward the train station. The station staff immediately notified the police, who intervened promptly.
A story that generated great concern but ended, fortunately, with a happy ending. The little boy, the son of a family of Ukrainian origin, managed to escape from the family home in the early hours of the morning, escaping surveillance despite the intense cold.
Noticing her son's absence, the mother immediately raised the alarm. In the meantime, the child had already been spotted near the Teano Scalo station. The railway staff promptly contacted the Carabinieri, who took custody of the child. The child was then taken to the Psaut in Teano, where he awaited the arrival of his mother. The latter, visibly relieved, was able to hug her son again shortly after.

This article talks about a situation that could have been very serious but fortunately the child was found. The police did a good job, but I wonder how it could have happened. We need more security.
