On December 3rd and 4th at 21.00:XNUMX PM, the Teatro Totò in Naples will open its doors to host "Non rubateci i sogni," a show written and directed by Bernardino De Bernardis, set in a theater confiscated from the Camorra and at the center of a narrative full of challenges and dreams.

The work, which features Salvatore Mennitti, Francesco Piccirillo, Martin Loberto, Ciro Desiderio, Elena Verde, and Noemi Giordano, reimagines the destiny of a symbolic place, transforming it into a bastion of resistance and hope.

A theatre symbol of resistance

The story focuses on Don Angelo, a priest who returns to the tough neighborhood of his childhood, finding his church under renovation and his place of worship relocated to a theater. That theater, taken from organized crime, becomes the fulcrum of a story that intertwines the individual struggles of a group of young people with the collective battle against injustice. The play thus becomes a call for change, challenging indifference.

During the performances, Adriano Police from the Giovani della Speranza association of Caivano will be in the audience on December 3rd, while Don Luigi Merola from the A voce de criature association will be present on December 4th. Both evenings will be dedicated to these organizations, with a final fundraiser to support their projects. The event will also be documented by the cameras of the inCittà program, broadcast on TeleCapri.

The event seems interesting, but I don't know if I'll be able to go. The theme of the theater confiscated from the Camorra is very current and important, I hope that many will appreciate the show and its mission.
