On November 16, 2024, the Public Prosecutor's Office of North Naples instructed the Carabinieri of the Villa Literno Station to execute an arrest warrant against a man investigated for the crimes of attempted murder aggravated by futile reasons, illegal possession of a bladed weapon and private violence, committed on the evening of November 15, 2024.
The measure is the result of an investigation conducted by the Carabinieri, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, which allowed them to quickly reconstruct the dynamics of a violent attack. This occurred with a switchblade at the height of an argument that arose over sentimental reasons.
The incident, which occurred in via Verga in the municipality of Casal di Principe, caused the victim to be injured in the right forearm, and he was taken to the Pineta Grande Hospital. After treatment, the person was released without being in danger of life.
The victim allegedly used his forearm to defend himself from the repeated stab wounds which the suspect allegedly directed at the abdomen, thus highlighting the latter's homicidal intent.
