Naples. There are no connections but the fatalists are already on the warpath. Double earthquake shock 12 minutes apart at Vesuvius and then at the Phlegraean Fields. Although in truth in this area there was already a seismic swarm underway since this morning with three shocks of magnitude just over 1.5.

Today, at 18:20 PM, seismographs at the INGV in Naples recorded a magnitude 2.6 earthquake in the crater of Vesuvius, approximately 200 meters below sea level. This seismic event also drew the attention of the local population.

Instead, at 18 pm, the seismographs detected an earthquake of magnitude 32 in Campi Flegrei, with its epicentre near Via Artiaco in Pozzuoli and at a depth of 2,6 kilometres.

The seismic event is part of a seismic swarm that affected the area, and was felt by residents of Agnano and Pozzuoli, some of whom reported a loud boom before the tremor.
