Sport as a vehicle for inclusion, friendship and resilience is at the heart of the travelling photographic exhibition “All Shades of Blue”, inaugurated yesterday at Villa Bruno, in the historic Fonderia Righetti, and open until tomorrow, November 21. The event was organized by ANAOAI – National Association of Olympic and Italian Athletes, in collaboration with the Naples Section.
The opening ceremony was attended by prominent institutional and sports figures, including the mayor of San Giorgio a Cremano, Giorgio Zinno, the regional councilor for Education, Lucia Fortini, the national president of ANAOAI Novella Calligaris and the president of the Neapolitan section, Immacolata Cerasuolo. Also present were the Olympic fencing champion Sandro Cuomo and the vice president of Coni Campania, Sergio Avallone.
The exhibition was also an opportunity to remember Santo Romano, the young man from San Sebastiano al Vesuvio who recently passed away, who was paid a touching tribute by the representatives of the Micri company, in which he played. The ceremony was also attended by the Paralympic dance champion Mariangela Correale, who brought her inspiring testimony.
Numerous students from the Isis Archimede and Isis Europa schools contributed to the event, along with the support of the company Sé Biocosmesi.

A journey into Italian sports culture
The exhibition, created to celebrate the 75th anniversary of ANAOAI, is a collection of images that tell the story and values of the blue jersey: the commitment, joy and strength that sport instills in those who practice and live it. A photographic narration that stops in various Italian cities and that, in San Giorgio a Cremano, is intertwined with another significant event: the final stage of the Relay of Rights.
Organized as part of the Day of the Rights of Children and Adolescents, the relay involved thousands of children from Naples and the province, underlining the power of sport as an educational and inclusive tool.
The exhibition and the collateral events represent a unique opportunity to celebrate the universal values of sport, strengthening the bond with the territory and the community, and leaving a tangible sign of the importance of educating about the challenges and successes that life, like a race, can reserve.
