Vittorio De Sica - A journey into the past to celebrate one of the greatest masters of Italian cinema. Villa Campolieto in Ercolano, an architectural and cultural gem, is preparing to host a special event dedicated to Vittorio De Sica, fifty years after his death.
On Wednesday, November 13th, at 20:00 PM, the monumental Vesuvian villa will open its doors for the second event in the "Great Anniversaries" series, a series of evenings dedicated to iconic figures of Italian culture.

Music will also be present, with performances by singer and pianist Walter Ricci, who will enchant the audience with his swing interpretations, and guitarist and composer Federico Luongo. "The Great Anniversaries" represent a unique opportunity to retrace the history of Italian cinema through the lives and works of great artists. After the tribute to Vittorio De Sica, the series will conclude on December 5th with an evening dedicated to the centenary of Walter Chiari's birth.
The initiative, promoted by the Fondazione Ente Ville Vesuviane and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, is part of a broader project to enhance Italy's cultural heritage. The choice of Villa Campolieto as the location for this event is no coincidence. The splendid historic residence, with its gardens and frescoed rooms, offers a charming and refined setting, perfect for celebrating an artist of the caliber of Vittorio De Sica.
