There is great anticipation for Thursday, December 19th at 18.00:XNUMX pm when, at the Grande Albergo Miramare in Formia, hosted by journalist and theatre critic Giuseppe Giorgio, the awards ceremony for the eighth edition of the “Premio Remigio Paone- La Caravella” will take place.
Among this year's award winners for the event organized by the Cultural Association "La Magica" chaired by Augusto Ciccolella, are great musicians but also great impresarios such as Michele Torpedine (manager of Bocelli and Il Volo), Enzo Longobardi (organizer of epic tours of the greatest Italian artists), Dante Mariti (professor at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, organizer of the awards dedicated to Pope Wojtyla, Padre Pio, Caruso and Callas), and Katia Ricciarelli, an iconic name in Italian opera and television.
Still, among the other award winners, adding further strength to the event with her verve will be Rosalia Porcaro and guests Claudio D'Eboli, the Soul Food Vocalist (a vocal group that has won numerous awards) and Francesco Malapena, a tenor who was inaugurated by Pippo Baudo and Placido Domingo.
Finally, as in every edition, there will be recognition for a deserving citizen of Formiano, which for 2025 will be awarded to the journalist Sandro Gionti. Guests of the evening, the opera singer and Bocelli vost Desire Capaldo, followed by Angelica Anfora, winner of the Riga Symphony International Festival, Marta Verrecchia, Noemi Cainero, the Gift Christmas, and the ballet company of the school of Dance Arts in Movement of the teacher Giuliana Gutturiello.
Finally, among those in attendance will be maestro Umberto Scipione, recipient of the WSA AWARD for best soundtrack for the film "You and I Must Talk," starring Siani and Pieraccioni. This year, each winner will receive a recording by Formia artist Giovanni Simione. The awards ceremony seems to be a very interesting and well-organized event. However, I don't understand why there aren't more details about how to participate or if it's open to the public. Also, it would have been nice to have more information about the awardees.
