“What happened a few days ago is truly incredible. A man, stopped by our police officers municipal police, not only was he driving a car without insurance and inspection, but he also did not have a license, which had been revoked way back in 2011. For a good 13 years he had been driving with impunity without a driving license”. The mayor of Giugliano, Nicola Pirozzi, wrote this on social media.“Instead of showing remorse or cooperation for his serious infractions, the man attacked the officers and fled. Fortunately, thanks to the work of the investigations conducted by the Commanding of the municipal police, Lt. Col. Luigi De Simone, was identified, reported and the vehicle was definitively seized, with a fine of 6 thousand euros”, added the mayor.
“I express my solidarity with the officers involved and thank all those who work in the area every day to ensure the safety of our community”, concluded Pirozzi.
