Giugliano. “What happened a few days ago is truly incredible. A man, stopped by our municipal police officers, was not only driving a car without insurance and inspection, but also without a license, revoked way back in 2011. For 13 years he had been driving around with impunity without a driving license”. The mayor of Giugliano, Nicola Pirozzi, wrote this on social media.
“Instead of showing remorse or collaboration for his serious infractions, the man attacked the officers and fled. Fortunately, thanks to the work of the investigations conducted by the Commander of the municipal police, Lt. Col. Luigi De Simone, he was identified, reported and the vehicle was permanently seized, with a fine of 6 thousand euros”, added the mayor.
“I express my solidarity with the officers involved and thank all those who work in the area every day to ensure the safety of our community”, concluded Pirozzi.
