Agnano - A night of terror ended with the arrest of a man for sexual assault and bodily harm. On the night between Saturday and Sunday, the State Police responded quickly to help a young woman in distress, leading to the arrest of a 55-year-old Neapolitan man.
The incident took place in an isolated and dark street in Agnano. The agents of the General Prevention Office, alerted by the Operations Room, rushed to the scene where, under a pouring rain, they found a visibly shaken girl who was asking for help. The young woman told the agents that she had been harassed by a man, an acquaintance, who had offered her a ride home. During the ride, the man allegedly took advantage of the situation to touch her private parts.
Thanks to the victim's timely report and the descriptions provided, the police immediately started tracking down the perpetrator. The 55-year-old was tracked down shortly after by officers from the Montecalvario Police Station in via Santa Lucia a Monte, where he was stopped and arrested. The man is now accused of sexual assault and bodily harm.
