Naples, Christmas theft: stolen trees in Piazza dei Martiri, recovered by the Carabinieri

Naples. Prompt intervention by the Carabinieri yesterday evening in Piazza dei Martiri, in the Chiaia district, where a report to 112 reported the theft of Christmas decorations by a group of very young people.

According to initial investigations, the boys stole three small trees and some figurines depicting elves from the flower boxes of a wine shop, before quickly disappearing.

The military, arriving on the scene, found and returned to the owner two of the stolen trees, abandoned by the youths along the road during their escape. Investigations are ongoing to identify those responsible and recover the other stolen objects.

An episode that, although curious, turns the spotlight back on the need to sensitize the younger ones to respect public and private property, especially in a symbolic period like Christmas.

And a strange thing that happens at Christmas, decorations should not be respected by everyone. Young people should learn that stealing is never right, especially in such an important period for all of us.
