A tragic news shakes the community of San Pietro Finally, in the Caserta area. Alessio Matrunola, aged 32, lost his life in a dramatic accident which occurred on a construction site in Casino, located in via Casilina sud. According to initial reconstructions, the young man fell from a concrete staircase still under construction.
The officers of the Cassino police station, together with the public prosecutor's office, are investigating to shed light on the dynamics of the incident. Before the tragic accident, Alessio had told his colleagues that he intended to go out on the stairs to smoke a cigarette.
Alessio Matrunola was originally from San Vittore del Lazio and an only child. His mother, a teacher in a local high school, and his father, an employee at a company that collaborates with Autostrade SPA, are now overwhelmed by grief. Alessio was known for his passion for music and played the guitar, a talent that he cultivated with dedication.
